Technical Consulting Services for the Semarang–Demak Toll Road Development – Section 1B

The Technical Consulting Services for the Semarang–Demak Toll Road Development – Section 1B were provided to support the construction of a toll road in a coastal area with soft soil conditions and complex coastal environmental influences. The scope of work included geotechnical and design evaluation, review of soil improvement and embankment methods, analysis of soil stability and deformation, as well as monitoring and technical recommendations during construction. Key challenges included potential consolidation settlement, tidal flooding and inundation, embankment stability, and the need to control long-term ground deformation. The technical approach involved optimizing soil improvement methods and staged construction, evaluating embankment stability and ground deformation, and developing geotechnical monitoring recommendations to improve the safety, stability, and reliability of the toll road infrastructure in the coastal area.
