The Structural Assessment of Pier 009 for Quay Container Crane (QCC) Installation at PT IPC Terminal Petikemas, Tanjung Priok Area 1, Zone 1 was conducted to evaluate the capacity and reliability of the existing pier structure against the additional operational loads from the planned QCC installation. The scope of work included structural and foundation assessment, evaluation of structural element capacity under crane and port operational loads, stability and structural response analysis, and development of structural strengthening and optimization recommendations. Key challenges included increased QCC operational loads, coastal environmental conditions, and the need to ensure long-term structural stability and reliability under continuous container handling activities. The technical approach involved evaluating the capacity of the existing structure and foundations, optimizing strengthening measures and structural elements, and developing technical recommendations to ensure the safety, stability, and reliability of the pier in supporting terminal operations.
