Soil Investigation for the Yogyakarta–Bawen Toll Road – Section 2

The Soil Investigation for the Yogyakarta–Bawen Toll Road – Section 2 was conducted to obtain geotechnical data and soil condition information as a basis for the design and construction of toll road infrastructure across an area with varying topographic and geological conditions. The scope of work included field geotechnical investigations, soil boring and testing, soil sampling, and evaluation of geotechnical parameters and soil stratigraphy along the Section 2 toll road alignment. Key challenges included hilly terrain, varying soil and rock characteristics, potential landslides and ground deformation, and the need for detailed geotechnical data to support the design of foundations, embankments, and toll road slope stability. The technical approach involved systematic geotechnical investigation and testing, evaluation of soil parameters and engineering geological conditions, and development of technical recommendations to support the safe, stable, and reliable design and construction of the toll road.
