Soil Investigation for the Yogyakarta–Bawen Toll Road Project

The Soil Investigation for the Yogyakarta–Bawen Toll Road Project was conducted to obtain geotechnical data and soil conditions to support the design and construction of toll road infrastructure across areas with varying topographical and geological conditions. The scope of work included field investigations, soil boring and testing, soil sampling, and evaluation of geotechnical parameters and soil stratigraphy along the toll road alignment. Key challenges included hilly terrain, variations in soil and rock characteristics, and the need for detailed geotechnical data to support foundation design, embankment planning, and slope stability. The technical approach involved systematic geotechnical investigations and testing, evaluation of soil parameters and engineering geological conditions, and preparation of technical recommendations to support safe and reliable toll road design and construction.
