Soil Investigation for the STP ITB Gedebage Development Project

The Soil Investigation for the STP ITB Gedebage Development Project was conducted to obtain geotechnical data and soil condition information as a basis for the development of the Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) facility within the ITB Gedebage area. The scope of work included field geotechnical investigations, soil boring and testing, evaluation of subgrade conditions and geotechnical parameters, and interpretation of investigation data to support the design of foundations and structures for the wastewater treatment facility. Key challenges included varying soil conditions within the development area, foundation stability requirements under STP operational loads, and the need for detailed geotechnical data to support the safety and reliability of the utility infrastructure. The technical approach involved systematic geotechnical investigation and testing, evaluation of soil bearing capacity and deformation characteristics, and development of geotechnical parameter recommendations to support the safe, stable, and reliable design and construction of the STP facility.
