Soil Investigation at STA. 8+000, 8+500, 9+400, and 10+250 – Pekanbaru–Padang Toll Road, Sicincin–Lubuk Alung–Padang Section

The Soil Investigation at STA. 8+000, 8+500, 9+400, and 10+250 for the Pekanbaru–Padang Toll Road, Sicincin–Lubuk Alung–Padang Section, was conducted to obtain geotechnical data and soil condition information as a basis for the design and construction of toll road infrastructure in an area characterized by challenging topographic and geological conditions. The scope of work included field geotechnical investigations, soil boring and testing, evaluation of soil stratigraphy and subgrade conditions, and interpretation of geotechnical parameters to support the design of foundations, embankments, and toll road stability. Key challenges included varying soil and slope conditions, potential landslides and ground deformation, and the need for detailed geotechnical data to support the stability and safety of the toll road infrastructure. The technical approach involved systematic geotechnical investigation and testing, evaluation of soil characteristics and site stability, and development of geotechnical parameter recommendations to support the safe, stable, and reliable design and construction of the toll road.
