Soil Boring (Borlog) for the IKN 1B Toll Road Development – Sepinggan Airport–Balsam Toll Road Segment

The Soil Boring (Borlog) works for the IKN 1B Toll Road Development – Sepinggan Airport–Balsam Toll Road Segment were conducted to obtain soil condition data and geotechnical parameters to support the design and construction of toll road infrastructure in the IKN development area. The scope of work included soil boring, soil sampling, field and laboratory geotechnical testing, and evaluation of soil stratigraphy and parameters for foundation, embankment, and toll road structure design. Key challenges included varying soil and topographical conditions, potential subgrade settlement and stability issues, and the need for detailed geotechnical data to support toll road development and connectivity to the airport area. The technical approach involved systematic geotechnical investigation and soil boring, evaluation of soil characteristics and foundation bearing capacity, and preparation of geotechnical parameter recommendations to support the safety and stability of the toll road infrastructure.
