Soil Boring (Borlog) for Semarang–Demak Toll Road Section 1B – Zone N

The Soil Boring (Borlog) Works for Semarang–Demak Toll Road Section 1B – Zone N were conducted to obtain soil condition data and geotechnical parameters as a basis for the design and construction of the toll road in a coastal area with soft ground conditions. The scope of work included soil boring, soil sampling, field and laboratory geotechnical testing, and evaluation of soil stratigraphy and parameters for embankment, foundation, and toll road stability design. Key challenges included soft coastal soils, potential consolidation settlement and embankment deformation, and the need for detailed geotechnical data to support the stability and safety of the toll road construction. The technical approach involved systematic geotechnical investigation and soil boring, evaluation of soil characteristics and consolidation behavior, and development of geotechnical parameter recommendations to support safe and reliable toll road design and construction.
