Site-Specific Response Analysis (SSRA) and Peak Ground Acceleration (PGA) Assessment for the Maumere Fuel Terminal (TBBM) Development Project
East Nusa Tenggara
The Site-Specific Response Analysis (SSRA) and Peak Ground Acceleration (PGA) Assessment for the Maumere Fuel Terminal (TBBM) Development Project was conducted to evaluate site-specific seismic response and earthquake acceleration parameters for the development of energy facilities in an area with complex soil conditions and significant seismic activity. The scope of work included Site-Specific Response Analysis (SSRA), evaluation of dynamic soil characteristics and seismic parameters, development of Peak Ground Acceleration (PGA) values, and preparation of design response spectra for structural and foundation design. Key challenges included local geotechnical conditions, potential seismic amplification, and the need for site-specific seismic parameters for high-risk energy facilities. The technical approach involved evaluating site-specific soil response and dynamic characteristics, developing PGA values and design response spectra, and preparing seismic design parameters to support safer structural and foundation design in accordance with site-specific seismic conditions.
