Seismic Downhole Testing and Site-Specific Response Spectrum (SSRS) Analysis for an Office Building Structural Assessment Project in Jakarta
DKI Jakarta
The Seismic Downhole Testing and Site-Specific Response Spectrum (SSRS) Analysis for the Office Building Structural Assessment Project in Jakarta was conducted to evaluate the dynamic soil characteristics and site-specific seismic response for a high-rise building development in an urban environment. The scope of work included seismic downhole testing, Site-Specific Response Spectrum (SSRS) analysis, evaluation of soil shear-wave parameters and local seismic response, and development of design response spectra for structural design. Key challenges included soft soil conditions in Jakarta, seismic amplification effects on structural response, and the need for site-specific seismic parameters for high-rise building design. The technical approach involved evaluating soil dynamic characteristics and local seismic response, developing seismic acceleration parameters and design response spectra, and providing technical recommendations to support safer structural design against earthquake effects.
