The Performance-Based Design, Site-Specific Response Spectra (SSRS), and Seismic Downhole Testing for the Wisma Sudirman Jakarta Project were conducted to support the design of a high-rise building using a performance-based approach in an area with significant seismic considerations. The scope of work included seismic downhole testing, evaluation of dynamic soil parameters, Site-Specific Response Spectra (SSRS) analysis, and development of seismic design parameters for the building structure. Key challenges included Jakarta’s soft soil conditions and the need to accurately evaluate site-specific seismic response for high-rise structural design. The technical approach involved evaluating soil shear-wave velocities, developing site-specific design response spectra, and conducting seismic response analysis to enhance the safety and structural performance of the building under earthquake loading.
