The Geotechnical Investigation for Road Construction Section 6C-1: Sp.3 ITCI – Simpang 1B Sumbu Kebangsaan Timur, KIPP, IKN was conducted to obtain soil condition data and geotechnical parameters to support the planning and construction of road infrastructure within the Nusantara Capital City (IKN) development area. The scope of work included field geotechnical investigations, soil boring and testing, evaluation of soil stratigraphy and slope conditions, and interpretation of geotechnical parameters for embankment, foundation, and pavement design. Key challenges included varying topographical and geotechnical conditions across the IKN area, potential embankment deformation and stability issues, and the need for accurate geotechnical data to support road development. The technical approach involved systematic geotechnical investigation and testing, evaluation of soil characteristics and area stability, and preparation of technical recommendations to support safe and reliable road infrastructure design and construction.
