Geotechnical and Infrastructure Engineering Services for BP Onshore Facilities

The BP Onshore Project was carried out to support the evaluation and development of geotechnical engineering and infrastructure aspects for onshore facilities, with a focus on safe, stable, and reliable structural and utility systems under operational conditions. The scope of work included geotechnical and structural analysis, assessment of soil and foundation conditions, review of operational loading and supporting utilities, and development of design recommendations and engineering optimization for the onshore facilities. Key challenges included varying ground conditions, foundation stability under operational loads, and the need to ensure the long-term reliability of infrastructure and utility systems. The technical approach involved evaluating geotechnical parameters and structural systems, optimizing foundation and supporting infrastructure designs, and developing engineering recommendations to enhance the safety, stability, and reliability of the onshore facilities.
