Existing Foundation Protection, Soil Investigation, and Foundation Analysis for New Bridge BH1120 – KM 305+586, Linggapura–Bumiayu

The Existing Foundation Protection, Soil Investigation, and Foundation Analysis for New Bridge BH1120 at KM 305+586 between Linggapura and Bumiayu were conducted to ensure the stability and safety of the bridge structure under site-specific geotechnical and environmental conditions. The scope of work included soil investigation, assessment of existing foundation conditions, bearing capacity and stability analysis of the new bridge foundation, and development of foundation protection measures. Key challenges included potential scour effects, varying subgrade conditions, and the need to protect the foundation against operational loading and river flow. The technical approach involved optimizing the foundation and protection system designs, evaluating geotechnical stability, and developing structural mitigation recommendations to enhance the safety, stability, and long-term service life of the bridge.
