Design Review for the BSI Tower Jakarta Development Project
DKI Jakarta
The Design Review for the BSI Tower Jakarta Development Project was conducted to ensure that the high-rise building design met requirements for safety, structural stability, and resistance to operational and seismic loads within the urban environment of Jakarta. The scope of work included evaluation of deep excavation and deep foundation designs, structural response analysis under gravity and seismic loads, review of substructure elements, and development of redesign and structural optimization recommendations. Key challenges included soft soil conditions in Jakarta, the densely developed project environment, the need to ensure high-rise structural stability under dynamic loading, and optimization of the structural system for safety and efficiency. The technical approach involved evaluating structural and foundation performance, optimizing structural elements and seismic resisting systems, and developing redesign recommendations to enhance the overall safety, reliability, and efficiency of the building.
