The Design Review for Road Improvement – Package F, KIPP 1B (Row 54 STA 0+950) was conducted to ensure that the road infrastructure design meets stability, safety, and operational reliability requirements within the development area of Nusantara (IKN). The scope of work included geotechnical design review, embankment stability evaluation, and development of redesign and road structure optimization recommendations. Key challenges included clay shale subgrade conditions, embankment and drainage stability under high rainfall conditions, and the need to ensure adequate road bearing capacity for operational loads. The technical approach involved geotechnical stability evaluation, embankment design optimization, and development of soil and road structure improvement recommendations to enhance the service life and performance of the infrastructure.
