The Design Review for Road Development Section 6C-1: SP. 3 ITCI – Simpang 1B Sumbu Kebangsaan Timur, KIPP, IKN was conducted to ensure that the road infrastructure design met requirements for stability, safety, and long-term operational reliability within the Nusantara Capital City (IKN) area, where challenging geotechnical and topographic conditions are present. The scope of work included evaluation of slope stability and reinforcement designs, arch bridge design review, and development of recommendations for road redesign and optimization. Key challenges included clay shale subgrade conditions, embankment and slope stability, the impact of high rainfall on area drainage, and the need to provide adequate road bearing capacity for long-term traffic and operational demands. The technical approach involved evaluating slope stability and reinforcement systems, optimizing the arch bridge design, and developing soil improvement and road design recommendations to enhance infrastructure performance and service life.
