Cone Penetration Test (CPT) and Soil Boring (Borlog) for the Bayung Lencir–Tempino Toll Road Development – Section 2

The Cone Penetration Test (CPT) and Soil Boring (Borlog) for the Bayung Lencir–Tempino Toll Road Development – Section 2 were conducted to obtain geotechnical data and soil conditions as a basis for the design and construction of the toll road across areas with varying soil and topographic conditions. The scope of work included Cone Penetration Testing (CPT), geotechnical soil boring, soil sampling, field testing, and evaluation of soil stratigraphy and geotechnical parameters for the design of foundations, embankments, and toll road pavement. Key challenges included varying subgrade conditions, potential ground deformation and settlement, and the need for detailed geotechnical data to support the stability and safety of toll road construction. The technical approach involved systematic and controlled geotechnical investigation and testing, evaluation of soil characteristics and site stability, and development of geotechnical parameter recommendations to support safe and reliable toll road design and construction.
