Cirata Floating Solar Power Plant Development – 145 MWac
West Java
The Cirata Floating Solar Power Plant Development Project – 145 MWac was conducted to support the development of a large-scale floating solar photovoltaic facility, with key considerations related to site-specific geotechnical conditions, supporting structure stability, and fluctuations in reservoir water levels. The scope of work included evaluation of geotechnical and site conditions, stability analysis of supporting structures and foundations, and development of the Detailed Engineering Design (DED) for the floating solar PV facility and its supporting infrastructure. Key challenges included the stability of the mooring system, environmental loading, and integration of infrastructure within the reservoir environment. The technical approach involved optimizing structural and foundation designs, evaluating mooring system stability, and developing technical recommendations to enhance the safety, stability, and long-term reliability of the floating solar power facility.
